ABOUT US

Quamby Homestead was built in 1860 by the White family, and was a former Cobb&Co Station in Thuddungra, Young.

Quamby Olives were planted in 1996, being a variety of

Manzanillo, Picual and Barnea trees

in organised rows around the Homestead.

The trees are irrigated an planted in granite derived red loam soil,

basking in the Mediterranean-esque climate of Young,

with long hot summers and wet cool winters. 

The Quamby Grove nurtures the trees from seedling to healthy fruit-bearing olive tree. These handsome mature character trees are now 25 years old .

From trunk to olive, each tree has it's own unique personality.
